New gel tested to save jawbone after tooth loss
NCT ID NCT07278180
Summary
This study tested whether a special biomaterial gel, made from a patient's own blood, can help preserve jawbone after a tooth is pulled. It involved 39 healthy adults who needed a tooth extracted. Researchers measured bone changes over 16 weeks to see if the gel helps maintain enough bone for a future dental implant.
