Dentists map how jawbone changes after tooth removal
NCT ID NCT06624982
Summary
This study aims to understand how jawbone changes shape after a tooth is extracted and a bone graft is placed. Researchers will measure bone width and height at specific time points in 160 adult patients to see if immediate post-extraction changes predict how the bone heals over four months. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve future dental procedures, particularly planning for dental implants.
