New tooth coating shows promise in reversing early cavities

Summary
This study tested a product called DoReMin that is applied to early tooth decay (white spots) to help the enamel heal. 43 people with at least two early cavities on permanent teeth took part. One tooth was treated with the product, while a similar tooth was left untreated for comparison. Participants were checked after 1 day, 4 weeks, 4 months, and 1 year to see if the treated tooth improved.
