New smile, new confidence: study tests fix for Kids' discolored teeth

NCT ID NCT07469124

Summary

This study is testing different dental treatments for children aged 6-14 who have permanent front teeth with white or brownish spots, a condition called Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). Researchers are comparing a resin infiltration treatment, sometimes combined with other cleaning methods, to see which works best to improve the tooth's color, reduce sensitivity, and improve the child's quality of life. The children will be followed for one year to check the results.
