New tonsil surgery technique aims for faster, less painful recovery
NCT ID NCT03654742
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for removing tonsils in adults who suffer from frequent or long-lasting tonsillitis. Researchers want to see if a newer, less invasive technique leads to less pain and faster recovery after surgery compared to the traditional method. They will measure pain levels, bleeding risk, medication use, and quality of life in 167 adult participants.
