First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether injecting a person's own muscle cells into the tongue can safely improve swallowing problems caused by prior cancer treatment. The trial involves 18 adults who had throat cancer and now have trouble swallowing. The main goal is to check for side effects over 12 months, with a secondary look at whether swallowing gets better.
