New brain stent aims to prevent strokes in High-Risk patients

Summary
This study tests a new stent (Tonbridge) for people with narrowed brain arteries that cause symptoms like strokes or TIAs, even with medication. About 200 adults aged 18-75 will receive the stent to see if it safely prevents future strokes and keeps the artery open. The goal is to control the disease and reduce stroke risk, not to cure the underlying atherosclerosis.
