Summary

This study tested if a drug called tofacitinib, which is used for arthritis, could help control moderate to severe skin rashes caused by lupus. It involved 13 young adults and primarily aimed to see if the drug was safe and how it behaved in their bodies over 76 weeks. The researchers also looked for early signs that it might improve the skin rash.
