New muscle monitor could make surgery safer

Summary
This study is testing a new device that measures how relaxed a patient's muscles are during surgery. The device uses a method called mechanomyography, which may be more precise than the current standard. Researchers will compare the new device to the existing one in 50 adults having surgery with muscle relaxants.
