Arthritis drugs linked to blood cell drop: what patients need to know

NCT ID NCT07237906

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to understand how often popular arthritis medications (TNF-alpha inhibitors) cause low white blood cell counts (neutropenia). Researchers examined 122 adult patients who took these drugs to see how common this side effect was and whether it affected their treatment. The goal was to gather real-world information to help doctors monitor patients more effectively.
