NCT ID NCT06926270
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether adding transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to standard exercise can reduce fatigue, pain, and improve walking in people with postpolio syndrome. 26 adults who had polio earlier in life and now have new symptoms took part. Half got TMS plus exercise, the other half only exercise. The goal was to see if TMS offers extra benefits for managing ongoing symptoms.
