New hope for bipolar depression: brain zaps without side effects?

Summary

This study tests a gentle brain stimulation technique called low-frequency repetitive TMS for people with bipolar depression who haven't gotten better with other treatments. 80 participants will receive 30 daily sessions, and researchers will track mood changes and safety for 6 weeks after. The goal is to see if this approach can safely ease depression symptoms without causing mania.
