Scientists zap brains to map Schizophrenia's hidden signals

NCT ID NCT05660018

Summary

This small study aimed to understand how a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (TMS) affects brain activity in people with schizophrenia. Ten participants received both real and fake (sham) TMS sessions while researchers measured their brain signals. The goal was to gather information to help design future TMS treatments that might improve brain function and thinking skills in schizophrenia.
