First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested a new injection for people with a jaw joint problem called TMJ internal derangement. The injection combines the patient's own growth factors (from blood) with a lubricating gel. 30 adults received the treatment after a joint washout, and researchers measured pain, clicking, and jaw movement. The goal was to see if this mix improves symptoms better than standard care.
