Summary
This study tested a treatment for a common jaw joint problem called anterior disc displacement. Twenty adults received a joint wash (arthrocentesis) followed by an injection of platelet-rich plasma and an anti-inflammatory drug. The goal was to improve jaw movement, reduce pain, and stop clicking sounds. The trial is complete, but results are not yet reported.
