Could a simple injection ease your jaw pain?
NCT ID NCT07373730
Summary
This study tested whether adding a patient's own platelet-rich fibrin to a standard hyaluronic acid injection could better treat a painful jaw joint problem. Thirty adults with jaw pain, clicking, and limited movement received either the standard injection or the new combination. Researchers tracked their pain levels and jaw movement over six months to see which treatment worked better.
