NCT ID NCT07359131

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at two treatments—platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)—given during jaw joint surgery to help with pain and recovery. Researchers will review medical records of 700 adults who had the surgery to see which injection works better for reducing pain and improving jaw movement. The goal is to find out if one treatment leads to a smoother recovery.
