Your own blood may hold key to faster jaw surgery healing
NCT ID NCT07359131
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 700 adults who had jaw joint surgery to see if one of two special injections works better for recovery. Both injections, PRP and PRF, are made from a patient's own blood and are given during surgery. The main goal is to find out which injection is linked to less pain and better jaw movement six months after the operation.
