3D scans reveal hidden jaw damage in kids after tooth trauma
NCT ID NCT07268443
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if children who broke a front tooth also had changes in their jaw joint. Researchers compared 3D scans from 42 injured kids to scans from 25 kids without injury. The goal was to understand if this common trauma causes hidden jaw problems that regular check-ups might miss.
