Jaw splint may silence ringing ears in new trial

Summary
This study tests whether treating jaw joint disorder with a stabilizing mouth splint can reduce ringing in the ears (tinnitus) that is linked to jaw issues. About 63 adults with both tinnitus and jaw problems for over 6 months will receive either a real splint or a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in tinnitus distress using questionnaires.
