NCT ID NCT07479693
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at 36 adults with painful jaw joint (TMJ) problems who did not get better with basic care. All had a standard minimally invasive procedure (arthrocentesis) to flush the joint. Some also received an injection of hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich fibrin, or dextrose solution. The goal was to see which combination best reduced pain and improved jaw movement. Results help doctors choose the best add-on treatment for TMJ pain.
