New injection tested to unlock jaw pain relief
NCT ID NCT07445191
Summary
This study is testing whether an injection containing a steroid and a numbing medicine works better for relieving tight, painful jaw muscles. About 30 adults with jaw pain will receive the injection into specific muscle knots. Researchers will measure their pain levels, how wide they can open their mouths, and their need for pain pills over three months.
