New jaw washout method tested for locked jaw relief
NCT ID NCT07239037
Summary
This study compared two ways of performing a minimally invasive jaw joint washout procedure for people with painful, clicking jaw joints. Researchers tested a new method using a dental implant motor pump against the standard technique to see which better reduced pain and improved mouth opening. The goal was to find a more effective approach for this common jaw disorder.
