Summary
This study tested a new method for designing mouth splints to treat a common jaw joint problem (TMJ disc displacement). 20 people with the condition received either a splint designed using a special 3D analysis (VTO) or a traditional one. The goal was to see if the new method improved jaw function and reduced symptoms better than the standard approach.
