Jaw pain linked to neck changes? new study to scan spine shapes
NCT ID NCT07429435
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at how a common jaw joint problem (TMJ disc displacement) might be connected to changes in the neck bones. Researchers will use X-rays and MRI scans to measure the shape, size, and posture of the upper spine in 115 people with TMJ issues. The goal is to better understand the relationship between jaw and neck health, not to test a treatment.
