NCT ID NCT07329413

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at 70 adults with a painful tooth infection to see if having a common jaw joint problem (anterior disc displacement with reduction) leads to more pain after root canal treatment. Participants rated their pain over a week and had their mouth opening measured. The goal is to help dentists better manage pain for patients with both conditions.
