Summary

This study tests whether a mouth splint combined with a granisetron injection into the jaw muscle reduces pain from temporomandibular disorders (TMD) better than a splint alone or with lidocaine. About 48 adults with jaw muscle pain will wear a splint and receive one injection. They will be followed for 6 months to measure pain, jaw movement, and side effects.
