Scientists probe link between jaw pain and neck strength in young adults
NCT ID NCT07407127
Summary
This study aimed to understand how jaw joint problems relate to neck muscle endurance and pain sensitivity. Researchers compared 60 university students—30 with jaw dysfunction and 30 without—measuring how long they could hold neck positions and how much pressure caused pain in jaw and neck muscles. The goal was to gather knowledge about these connections, not to test a treatment.
