First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 adults with specific types of spine fractures (A3 and A4) that had a mid-range severity score (4 or 5). Half were treated with surgery, half without. Researchers measured pain, bone healing, and spine shape to see which approach worked better. The goal was to help doctors decide when surgery is truly necessary.
