Common pain pill may weaken Ear's natural defense
NCT ID NCT07309354
Summary
This study aims to understand if the muscle relaxant tizanidine affects the ear's natural reflex that protects against loud sounds. Researchers will test 45 adults before and after they take tizanidine for one week as part of their normal care. The goal is to see if the medicine changes how this protective reflex works, which could inform safety advice for patients.
