First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a technique called tissue flossing to standard nerve glide exercises could reduce pain and improve shoulder movement in women with axillary web syndrome (a painful, cord-like tightness under the arm) after breast cancer surgery. 155 women aged 45-65 who had a partial mastectomy and lymph node removal took part. The goal was to see if this early rehab approach helps recovery and quality of life.
