New brain cancer drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat lymphoma

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called tirabrutinib for a rare and aggressive cancer called primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), which starts in the brain or spinal cord. It has two parts: one for patients whose cancer has returned or resisted prior treatment, and another for newly diagnosed patients, where tirabrutinib is combined with standard chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if the treatment shrinks tumors, is safe, and how the body processes the drug.
