Summary
This study tested whether a drug called tiopronin could help patients recover better after a life-threatening brain bleed from a burst aneurysm. Researchers wanted to see if tiopronin could lower levels of a harmful chemical in the brain and improve patients' independence and disability scores. The trial involved 60 patients and compared tiopronin against a placebo.
