Zap and listen: can a new Brain-Training device quiet ringing ears?
NCT ID NCT07393880
Summary
This study is testing a new therapy that aims to reduce the loudness and distress caused by chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears). It combines gentle electrical stimulation on the back of the neck with a listening task. One hundred adults with constant tonal tinnitus will try different versions of this therapy over eight sessions to see which approach works best.
