First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a toothpaste and powder made from tinder fungus can improve gum health in people with advanced gum disease (periodontitis). Participants will use the fungus-based products or a regular toothpaste alongside standard deep cleaning. The main goal is to see if the fungus formula reduces gum bleeding more than standard toothpaste. The study involves 70 adults who have not yet started gum disease treatment.
