Eye drop ingredient may speed scalp wound healing, new study suggests

Summary

This study tests whether a topical gel called timolol can help surgical wounds on the scalp heal faster and leave a better-looking scar after Mohs skin cancer removal. About 40 adults will either use timolol or standard wound care. Researchers will check healing at 4, 8, and 12 weeks.
