Summary

This study aims to determine the best timing for surgery to remove epiretinal membranes, which are thin scar tissues on the eye's retina that can cause vision distortion. Researchers will compare immediate surgery against waiting until vision worsens to see which approach leads to better long-term vision outcomes. The trial will enroll 400 adults with relatively good vision but noticeable symptoms to help guide future treatment decisions.
