First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a procedure called TEER (a minimally invasive way to repair a leaky heart valve) can help people with moderate mitral regurgitation that becomes severe during physical activity. About 300 participants will either receive TEER plus standard medical therapy or standard therapy alone. The main goal is to see if TEER reduces the need for hospitalization over two years.
