Night shift diet test: can workers stop eating overnight?
NCT ID NCT06686667
Summary
This study tested whether it's practical for rotating shift workers to follow a time-restricted eating diet, where they only eat during an 8-hour window and fast overnight. Researchers enrolled 31 healthcare workers to see if they could stick to the schedule and measured how it affected their blood sugar levels during both day and night shifts. The goal was to gather information to see if this eating pattern is a feasible health strategy for people who work irregular hours.
