Scientists test Patient's own supercharged immune cells to fight tough cancers

NCT ID NCT06190275

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new, personalized treatment for advanced head and neck cancer. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and infuse them back into the patient along with a standard immunotherapy drug. The goal is to see if this combined approach is safe and can help control the cancer in people whose disease has come back or spread.
