Fighting cancer with your own supercharged immune cells

NCT ID NCT05098197

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a personalized immune therapy for people with advanced liver, bile duct, or pancreatic cancers that haven't responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a sample of a patient's tumor, grow special cancer-fighting immune cells from it in a lab, and then infuse a large number of these cells back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this treatment is safe and if it can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's growth.
