First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a wearable device called Tight Alright that measures the pressure of compression bandages used to treat venous leg ulcers. The device sends pressure data to a phone app, helping doctors and patients apply and maintain the right pressure. The goal is to see if this technology leads to faster wound healing and better patient engagement. The study involves 40 adults with leg ulcers who are already receiving compression therapy.
