Summary
This study tests a new device called TIES® that is implanted under the skin to help people with a permanent ileostomy or colostomy control when they empty their waste. Ten adults will get the implant during stoma revision surgery and be followed for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if the device is safe, works well, and improves quality of life compared to using a stoma bag.
