New drug trial targets painful skin condition

Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called tibulizumab for adults with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory skin condition. For the first 16 weeks, participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. Then, all participants will receive the drug for another 16 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces the number of painful skin lumps and improves quality of life.
