First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This early-stage study is checking if a new, non-invasive brain stimulation method called TIBS is safe for healthy adults aged 20 to 65. Researchers will apply the stimulation to different brain areas and monitor for side effects, changes in thinking, and mood. Participants will receive both real and sham (fake) stimulation in a crossover design, with cognitive tests and MRI scans before and after.
