New study tests better surgery for teen bowed legs

Summary
This study looks at two ways to fix bowed legs (tibia vara) in teenagers aged 10-18. Surgeons use a plate alone or a plate with a cage to straighten the bone. The goal is to see which method works better for correcting the leg shape. About 25 teens will take part, and their bone alignment will be checked with X-rays after 6 months.
