First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two ways to fix a condition called tibia vara, which causes a child's leg to bow outward. It involves 25 teenagers aged 10 to 18 who need surgery to straighten the bone. The goal is to see which method—using a plate alone or a plate with an extra cage—works better for correcting the leg alignment over 6 months.
