Summary

This study tested a new device called the Tiara valve, which is placed through a small cut in the chest to replace a leaky mitral heart valve. It included 157 people with severe mitral regurgitation who were too high-risk for open-heart surgery. The goal was to see if the device is safe and works well at reducing the leak.
