First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a transient ischemic attack (TIA or 'mini-stroke') can cause subtle, long-lasting speech difficulties, even when people seem to have fully recovered. Researchers will test 30 people who have had a TIA and compare them with 60 people who have not. The goal is to better understand these hidden problems and improve future care and support.
