First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study reviews medical records of 300 adults who had a transient ischemic attack (TIA), or mini-stroke, and visited the emergency department in 2024. Researchers want to see if the care patients receive—like tests and treatments—matches their actual risk of future problems. The goal is to find gaps in care and improve how these patients are managed.
