New study tests simple neck check to predict tough intubations

Summary
This study looks at whether measuring the height of the neck (thyromental height) and using ultrasound can help doctors predict when placing a breathing tube will be difficult. About 240 adults having planned surgery with general anesthesia will take part. Researchers will compare these new measurements with standard checks to see which works best.
