First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study is testing whether radiofrequency ablation (RFA), a procedure that uses heat to shrink thyroid nodules, can safely reduce symptoms like neck pressure or bulging and improve quality of life. About 50 adults with benign thyroid nodules will receive the outpatient treatment and be followed for one year. The goal is to see if this minimally invasive option can replace surgery or lifelong medication for symptom relief.
